KIJIKUSH e Taeyeon performam na rádio Beats1
Interessados em ter a primeira perfomance de rádio do novo single do casal, a rádio decidiu convida-los para participar de uma pequena entrevista e cantar o seu novo single. Eles ficaram felizes com o convite e até decidiram se organizar para entregar uma performance original para a rádio; apenas uma surpresinha que preparam para o locutor e os ouvintes.
A participação do casal se inicia com KIJIKUSH cantando seu primeiro single solo, Dark Knight. A canção é composta inteiramente por sintetizadores que dão um ar cósmico a música. O rapper parecia feliz em cantar aquela música, pois dá tudo de si, mesmo estando relaxado. Seu speedflow não apresenta atraso algum, contrastando com as batidas melódicas do instrumental da música. A versão live daquela música é tão boa que era como se fosse a versão de estúdio sendo exibida, principalmente no speedflow que ele realiza com exímio.
Assim que terminam a canção, o locutor Zane Lowe elogia o vocal de KIJIKUSH e diz que não esperava algo tão melódico e aveludado para um homem como ele. O rapper rebate dizendo que a única voz aveludada que ele tem escutado recentemente é a de Taeyeon, o que faz a cantora dar um risinho.
O locutor prossegue perguntando sobre como está a estadia de ambos nos EUA e ambos respondem que estão felizes por estar ali, mas sentem saudades da Ásia. Ele ri e diz que esperava tê-los ali por mais tempo, terminando por dizer que eles são verdadeiras estrelas.
Zane questiona que como foi dado a opção de uma apresentação solo de algum dos dois, eles resolveram escolher KIJIKUSH para cantar seu primeiro single. Taeyeon afirma que gosta da canção e que tinha perdido quando o rapper performou a música na KCON LA. O rapper brinca dizendo que ela estava ocupado demais chorando no backstage depois da performance de Sunny Eyes. Os dois gargalham junto ao locutor.
Ele termina perguntando sobre o que rola entre os dois, ele afirma que vê uma química entre os dois e que algo precisa ser explorado. KIJIKUSH parece mudar de assunto quando fala que não há nada e que os ouvintes deveriam assistir a participação deles no The Ellen DeGeneres. Zane comenta que adorou a apresentação dele no programa no dia anterior e ele agradece.
O locutor fala que está na hora deles cantarem e Taeyeon diz que está muito animada. Ele então anuncia que eles vão cantar o novo single de KIJIKUSH e eles dão uma risada.
Um instrumental se inicia, mas não é o instrumental de Sunny Eyes. Em vez do novo single, é o instrumental de Make Me Love You de Taeyeon que toca. Aquela é a surpresa que eles estavam preparando e é notável porque aquilo deveria ser surpresa. Os dois distribuíram as linhas da música de forma que suas vozes podem harmonizar ao mesmo tempo em que entregavam uma versão dueto de Make Me Love You. A combinação das vozes deles é coisas dos deuses, KIJIKUSH já tinha demonstrado saber executar essa música com perfeição anteriormente, mas a versão dueto é de longe, a melhor versão da música.
A música anterior serve como intro, porque em seguida, o instrumental de Sunny Eyes se inicia. Era mais um dueto dos dois, a distribuição de linhas é perfeita para os dois. As vozes de ambos se encontram formando uma ligação entre elas e quando Taeyeon faz o backing vocal para KIJIKUSH, a música fica ainda melhor. Era uma música que realmente fazia chorar, se não fosse pela letra triste, seria pela entonação dos cantores que dava o ar melancólico e triste para a canção.
Ao final da performance, Zane agradece a presença do casal e diz que espera vê-los novamente nos Estados Unidos. Eles agradecem o convite e relembram para que vejam o programa da Ellen, prometendo uma notícia eletrizante.
