A duas semanas do lançamento oficial de seu primeiro álbum de estúdio, Kerli dá uma entrevista na rádio On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Durante a entrevista que ocorreu no dia 22/07, a mesma comentou sobre seu terceiro single, Blossom, e sobre seu material completo, Deepest Roots. Algumas músicas do "DR" foram tocadas durante o programa, mesmo após o fim da entrevista de Kerli. Os hinos tocados foram, respectivamente, Blossom, Feral Hearts e Diamond Hard, sendo este primeiro logo após o término da entrevista, e o último encerrando o programa.
RS: Hoje contaremos com uma presença muito especial da estoniana Kerli!
K: Olá a todos! Muito feliz de estar aqui! (risos)
RS: Garanto que todos os 'Moonchildren' nos ouvindo agora estão surtando de alegria.
K: Oi, Moonchildren!
RS: Kerli, vamos conversar! Temos tanto papo para por em dia...
*O instrumental de Blossom começa a tocar baixo como música de fundo*
RS: Você se lembra do 'RMA', não é? Você levou o prêmio de melhor performance.
K: Na criação daquela performance para o 'The Voice' britânico, eu realmente estava inspirada... O que foi feito ali foram ideias iniciais para o clipe de 'Feral Hearts'.
RS: Muito inspirada! A ponto de ter ganhado o prêmio de melhor performance no 'RMA'.
K: Obrigada... (risos)
RS: Durante sua performance no 'RMA', você lançou 'Blossom' como terceiro single oficial, não é isso?
K: Sim, e dois dias depois iniciei a pré-venda do 'Deepest Roots'.
RS: Qual foi a sua maior inspiração para 'Blossom'? Vimos que em 'Diamond Hard' você usou o lobo como símbolo de força e resistência, também vimos que em 'Feral Hearts' você criou quatro personagens com diversos conceitos para criticar a sociedade moderna. E 'Blossom', qual foi a sua inspiração?
K: Ah, puxa... Eu acho que já disse pelo menos umas dez vezes sobre ter passado nove meses na floresta, sem energia elétrica ou água encanada... 'Blossom' foi um fruto desses nove meses de reflexão e análise pessoal. Aliás, todo o álbum foi. Para 'Blossom', eu me inspirei nas plantas, especificamente. E, dessa vez, não é só força e resistência que venho trazer, mas superação. Apesar de todos os obstáculos, conseguir prosperar. E eu faço uma relação de superação com a história da Estônia, cujo povo sofreu bastante na mão de diversos países que conquistaram seus territórios. Os antigos estonianos, e também os atuais, veneravam muito as plantas, as florestas, eu não podia deixar de fazer uma composição para o reino vegetal, jamais!
RS: Um álbum cheio de conceito, isso que você vem nos trazendo. Procurou um jeito de contar a história da Estônia através de músicas que mostram sua garra e fé. Você é simplesmente incrível!
K: Obrigada... (risos)
